Managing Upload Access

Upload access is controlled by your event status:

  1. Upcoming: Upload URL is not active

  2. Live: Full upload access enabled

  3. Paused: Uploads temporarily disabled

  4. Finished: Uploads permanently disabled

The QR code and URL remain the same throughout the event's lifecycle, but their functionality changes based on status.

URL/QR Code Security

The upload URL includes:

  1. A unique identifier for your event

  2. Security validations to prevent unauthorized use

  3. Status checking to enforce event rules

  4. Secure transmission of photos

Testing Before Your Event

Always test your QR code before the event:

  1. Scan with different devices

  2. Try different lighting conditions

  3. Verify the upload process works

  4. Check that photos appear in your moderation queue or live carousel

Monitoring Usage

During your event, you can monitor upload activity:

  1. Check the photo count in your event dashboard

  2. Review the moderation queue (if enabled)

  3. Watch the live carousel for new content

  2. Test Thoroughly: Scan the code with multiple devices before your event

  3. Have Backup Options: Share both QR code and direct URL

  4. Consider Visibility: Ensure QR codes are large enough and well-lit

  5. Monitor Activity: Check uploads periodically during your event
